As one of the leading brands and industry innovators in the search marketing space Yahoo! are continually evolving and enhancing their products. The agencies that work closely with Yahoo commit significant resources to understanding and implementing advertising solutions, based on this technology, for their clients.
To establish a level of industry recognition and accreditation Yahoo! launched the Ambassador Program designed to train Search Engine Marketing (SEM) agencies and other web professionals on all aspects of managing multiple, large advertising accounts.
Roxxor were commissioned by Yahoo! to develop the training platform for the Ambassador Program. This consisits of two elements:
- an Educational Tutorial designed to teach the trainee everything they need to know, and;
- a Multiple Choice Test designed to ensure that trainees have a strong comprehension of the material.
The system is closely integrated with Microsft Office software including Word , Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally, the platform is integrated with another third party affiliate program for the collation of test results and associated payment processing.
The training platform is used by both the Sponsored Search and Search Submit businesses within Yahoo. It is currently deployed in the US and is scheduled for rollout to all Yahoo's global territories.
