Search Engine Optimisation
How do I get my site to the top of Google?
The Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) process is designed to make your website more friendly to the search engines. A well optimised site will reach higher positions within the natural search results and will therefore attract more traffic.
There are three key components to any SEO campaign. For this work to be successful, attention needs to be paid to all three.
On Page Optimisation
As part of the normla web site development process we are incorporate ‘On-Page’ search engine optimisation, utilising the very latest techniques to maximise algorithmic ranking within the natural search listings.
This will include:
- Highly relevant & page specific meta data and page titles
- Keyword density
- Allowing archived content
- XML based site maps
- Search engine friendly URL Structures
Editorial Content
Making sure you have the right content on the site and lots of it. This needs to be addressed right from the start of the site development and is an ongoing process. You will need to be committed to adding new content to the site on a regular basis.
We are always happy to advise on the editorial structure and rules to adhere to for SEO friendly content.
Off Page Optimisation
This is the process of getting inbound links to the site from third parties, which act as a ‘vote-of-confidence’ for your site.
We do not undertake Off Page (in bound link) optimisation work but work closely with third parties specialised in this area. We are happy to make recommendations as required.
Timescales
SEO campaigns are not a quick win. For a brand new website it can take anything from 6 months to a year to start seeing the results of any optimisation work.
